New Families

Hallstrom Homeschool Workshops offers a variety of class options for students pre-K through 12th grade. In addition to classes, Hallstrom's Rockford F.I.R.E. athletic programs offer girls' volleyball, boys' basketball, and girls' basketball. Whether you are interested in your student taking classes at Hallstrom or playing an F.I.R.E. sport, the registration process remains the same. You must first complete an application by clicking "Join" at the top right of the screen. Our new family director will carefully review your application, decide if Hallstrom will be a good fit for your family, and determine if we have an opening available based on your interests. Should your family be compatible and there is an opening, our new family director will contact you for an interview. Please come prepared to ask any questions that you have during the interview. Following the interview, a member of our Hallstrom Board of Directors will be in touch regarding the outcome of the interview. While it is not the heart of Hallstrom to turn any families away, it is important to note that not all families who apply will be offered an interview or will be offered an opportunity to become Hallstrom members. We have had a large increase in interest over the last few years and have many factors we consider when reviewing applications.
